    Tissue section- Liver
    Probable diagnosis- Alcoholic liver disease
    Identification points-
    1. Ballooning of hepatocytes
    2. Mallory-denk bodies are seen along with fat vacuoles and a few inflammatory cells

    1. Y not sure? U diagnosed the tissue right. Its liver. U can see a hepatic lobule with central vein & portal triad. Hepatocytes are showing fatty changes. Diagnosis-Fatty liver, secondary to alcoholism.

    2. More than fatty vacuoles I saw ballooning of hepatocytes... So I thought maybe it has progressed to alcoholic hepatitis... I was not sure about the diagnosis ma'am not the tissue...
